This index was prepared by Guild member Terry Eakin and first appeared in Directory of Irish Family History Research number 23 (2000) It was inputted by David Keane & Ronnie Hastings.
The index details the name, townland of freehold, civil parish and residence of the freeholder. Where placenames could be identified as townlands, Terry Eakin has used the modern official form. Quite a number of the placenames proved to be unofficial subdenominational names and we are grateful to Tom Sullivan and Brian Connolly, [who were at that time] the local history specialists at Cavan County Library who identified as many of these as they could.
