The Very Rev. James Stannus, of Lisburn, Dean of Ross, the highly-respected agent of the Marquis of Hertford, is the only son who has outlived his venerable mother. Her removal is mourned with regret as keen and sorrow as general, as would the premature shortening of some young and promising life.
