This stone replaces one erected by John McDonnell Esquire, City of Dublin, to mark the spot where rests in hope of a happy resurrection the mortal remains of his mother Eleanor McDonnell, who died 15th March 1813 aged 63 years. Also her husband Edward McDonnell, who died 2nd January 1833 aged 87 years. In loving memory of Edward Owen McDonnell, Rose Cottage, Mullahead, who died 18th December 1919. Also his sister Isabella McDonnell who died 14th June 1923. And his uncle Randal McDonnell R.I.P.
