Title: Address to Lord Gosford from the inhabitants of County Armagh
Date: 1838
Description: This address from the inhabitants of Armagh was presented to Archibald, Earl of Gosford, on his resumption of his roles as Lieutenant and Custos Rotulorum ('Keeper of the Rolls') of the county. Over 1,500 men signed the address, including a few from just outside the county. For most of them a place of residence is included. The editor of the Newry Examiner added a note that there were other pages of signatures which had been mislaid.
