Linen Drapers Moneymore
1796
In April 1796 the 'respectable' drapers of Moneymore resolved to establish a second linen market in the town. It was to be held on the Tuesday before the second Thursday of each month. The announcement of this market in the local newspapers of the day was signed by over 50 of the towns drapers.
