Prior to the tithe applotment books of the 1820s and 1830s tithe records are extremely rare. Presented here is a list of the tithes for the parish of Raloo from 1769-71. The source of this list is the vestry book of the parish of Larne and Inver. Although a civil parish in its own right, Raloo was at this time counted as part of Larne and Inver within the Church of Ireland system. The names of signatories, who may have been the applotters of the tithe, were William Anderson, Thomas Barklie, Francis Lee, Jameson Skeffington Smyth and Robert Thom.
