Title: Royal Irish Constabulary Registry of Households, Sub-District of Knocknacarry, County Antrim
Dates: 1881-1901
Description: This is a very useful substitute for the lost censuses of 1881 and 1891 and contains over 4,500 names. What makes it so interesting is that numerous comments were added to the list to indicate such events as death, marriage and emigration, as well as ‘gone to sea’, ‘joined RIC’ or ‘joined army’. Our long-time Australian member and agent, Terry Eakin, presented us with a transcription of this document.
