The Synod of Ulster was the highest authority in the Presbyterian Church in Ulster. It met once a year usually and was composed of representatives from every congregation in each of the presbyteries. The minutes of the meetings of the Synod of Ulster for the period 1691–1820 were published in three volumes by the Presbyterian Church in the late nineteenth century: Records of the General Synod of Ulster (1890–98).
This database includes the names of those who attended the Synod as Ruling Elders (RE), Commissioners (C), Witnesses (W), or Petitioners (P) between 1691 and 1718, along with the congregations to which they belonged or were representing.
