Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Dr Symonds had a general medical/family practice for over 30 years in a coastal town two ferry rides north of Vancouver, British Columbia. He has been investigating the origins of his father’s family in Ireland for 5 decades. He is grateful to all the family members who have contributed to his research, and to all the researchers who have worked so diligently to investigate and record the history of Ireland and its people.
