In March 2016, on behalf of the East Belfast Police and Community Safety Partnership of Belfast City Council and in partnership with Dr Brian Lambkin of the Mellon Centre for Migration Studies, the Foundation delivered two workshops in East Belfast. These focused on the broader theme of migration within a local context and were presented to both teenagers and youth practitioners.

As part of this project a bespoke GIS online resource was created to highlight the spatial development of East Belfast over the last 100+ years. On 4 May 2016 we had a stand at an event at The Oval in East Belfast to mark the 75th anniversary of the Belfast Blitz, where they had a further opportunity to showcase the GIS resource.
