Title: Rebuilding of First Derry Presbyterian Church: list of original contributors

Date: 1781

Description: Originally published in the Londonderry Journal on 16 January 1781, this reprinted list of names records individuals who donated money towards the rebuilding of First Derry Presbyterian Church.

One of the most generous donations was made by the liberally-minded Anglican bishop of Derry (who appears in the list under his other title, the Earl of Bristol), who gave £100. Another man who subscribed the same amount was Archibald Ross whose address was given as St Petersburg.
