by Ian Montgomery

"The Giant's Causeway is a world-famous tourist venue spectacularly situated on the precipitous coastal cliffs of North Antrim, some two miles north of the town of Bushmills.

This remarkable geological phenomenon has long been regarded as one of the Natural Wonders of the World on account of the spectacular and many-sided columns of rock that formed thousands of years ago from the cooling volcanic basalt.

It has consistently been the most popular visitor attraction in Northern Ireland."

This article looks at the case in the Irish Court of Chancellery concerning the right of the public to visit the Giant's Causeway.
